Dance Development Organization

The BCDH (Black Country Dance Hub) is a collective made up of 4 Black Country Arts Organisations in Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton.

The BCDH has a Dance Development Programme that will provide opportunities for young people in :

  • Special Schools
  • New Youth Dance Companies
  • Youth & Community Centres
  • Primary Schools
  • High Schools and Academies

The BCDH will actively seek to consult with young people to evaluate the success of the Dance Development Programme, celebrate success and achievement and shape future dance provision through a Dancers Forum.

The BCDH will connect young people through the Dance Hub Contacts (DHC) and our new website.

Dance Hub Contacts

Each of the 4 Black Country Arts Organisations has a resident dance hub contact (DHC).

An experienced professionally trained Dance Artist who will deliver high quality workshops opportunities, provide young people with current information on everything Dance in their area, regionally and nationally, and will be a key point of contact for schools, colleges, youth centres, youth dance and community groups, on how to access the exciting Dance Programme and to develop future projects and workshops.
