New Horizons – Digital Dance Programme

“Children Dancing in Lockdown”

Choreographers Mark Anderson and Jodie Stus

Our Lockdown Digital Dance Programme for Early Years and Primary Children

In June and July 2020 when the UK was in lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic, 27 schools and over 100 children schooled at home signed up to our weekly digital dance programme.

Two dances for EYFS and KS1 and KS2 were choreographed by professional artists Jodie Stus and Mark Anderson of InfuseDANCE and shared with just under a thousand young people over 4 weeks. At the end of the project the youngsters who had taken part had the option to be filmed performing the material and included in a final film which premiered in August 2020.
