The Black Country Dance Hub

Provides dance opportunities for children and young people who do not readily have access to high quality dance experiences.
We aspire to engage young people into dance who have not have had the opportunity to work with highly skilled dance professionals, watch professional performances and increase their own creativity.
We aim to increase participation and technical skill whilst raising aspirations, and we provide this at a highly subsidised cost to provide an inclusive dance experience for all children and young people
If you would like to support our work this is how your contribution may help
  • £2.00 would contribute to our subsidised dance workshop programme across all projects
  • £5.00 would contribute to the cost of a young person attending a Professional Dance Performance in a theatre venue
  • £10.00 would pay for 1 young person to attend the BCDH Annual Careers in Dance Event and experience a day of workshops and Marketplace visit
  • £20.00 would contribute to the hire cost of a dance studio for 1 hour
  • £40.00 would contribute to a Dance Artist working with a group of 20 young people in the community
  • £100 would contribute to the cost of a Professional Company working for the day with a class of young people
  • £150 would contribute to the cost of transport to bring a group of young people to the theatre to watch a Professional Performance
