Since the closure of The Public, West Bromwich in August 2013 the Sandwell Youth Dance group has been on the hunt for a new home. After a briefly relocating to West Bromwich Town Hall the group now moves to Wednesbury Town Hall where the doors are wide open, warmly welcoming them for a new term of dance! The group who first formed in August 2013 are now holding open auditions at their new venue. A few spaces in the company remain so new dancers aged 14-19years are being invited to attend an audition on either Monday 9, 16, 23 September between 6-8pm.. The audition process will close at the end of September. Between September and December all the Black Country Youth Dance groups (Sandwell, Dudley, Walsall, Wolverhampton) will be creating work that will be showcased later this year, they also have the opportunity to visit a professional dance production and undertake professional dance workshops, To register you interest for the audition email the group leader and Sandwell Dance Hub Contact georgina_biggs@sandwell.gov.uk
